Lead wires

COMPATIBILITY - lead wires are offered for 2mm, 4mm and general purpose crocodile clip allowing connection to a wide range of electrodes and accessories.
MINIMISES ADAPTERS - the system minimises the need for adapters at the electrode interface which can be bulky, look ugly and add multiple points of failure to the circuit. Simply select the appropriate leadwire for the electrode and plug into the trunk cable.
EASY TO USE - the lightweight lead wires can be connected up to electrodes and secured in place prior to connecting up the trunk cables. This makes wiring easier than connecting up multiple long cables direct to electrodes.
MINIMISES MISWIRING RISK - using trunk cables with shorter lead wires reduces the risk of miswiring. Trunk cables are provided with coloured cable markers allowing easy identification of the circuit at the source and electrode end.

Cable Example

The photo shows a 2.5 metre trunk cable with a 4mm lead wire connected. The 4mm connectors of the trunk cable connect to the Model X1.

Typically, the lead wires are connected to electrodes as a first step. The lead wire is chosen based on the electrode; 4mm for most insertible electrodes and 2mm for connecting to gel pads or conductive rubber.

Once all electrodes are wired, the lead wires can then be easily plugged into the trunk cables using coloured markers to identify the circuit. This provides a simple and convenient way of using all four circuits of the Model X1 without wiring confusion.

Rubber Trunk cable

A high quality 2.5 metre long cable made out of a highly flexible and durable rubber wire. The cable is heat and impact resistant and easy to clean. One end has a set of 4mm connectors for connecting to the model X1 and the other has a splash proof lead wire connector.

The trunk cable is provided with a set of coloured cable markers that can be tied to both ends of the cable to identify the circuit.

Vintage Trunk Cable

Trunk cables made of a silky, burgundy red cloth covered cable similar to that found on antique ECT machine cables.

These cables are lighter than the rubber cables and have an aesthetic that looks great along side rope.

The cables are 2.5m long. One end has a set of 4mm connectors for connecting to the model X1 and the other has a splash proof lead wire connector.

2mm Lead wire kit

A lead wire that plugs into the trunk cable and terminates in high quality 2mm connectors. The leads are 50cm long and made from highly flexible silicon rubber wire that is non absorbent and easy to clean.

The kit includes red and black snap electode connectors for connecting to standard gel pad electrodes.

It also includes high quality red and black crocodile clips with 2mm sockets for connecting to bare wires or improvised electrodes. The crocodile clips have strainless steel jaws that will not rust.

4mm Lead wire

A lead wire that plugs into the trunk cable and terminates in high quality 4mm connectors. The leads are 50cm long and made from highly flexible silicon rubber wire that is non absorbent and easy to clean.

This lead will interface with a wide range of insertible electrodes available from other manufacturers.

Universal clip lead

A lead wire that plugs into the trunk cable and terminates in specially designed crocodile clips.
The crocodile clips have a low intensity bite that will hold onto skin without being harmful and are made from stainless steel. The clips can also be used to attach to a range of metal or rubber electrodes.

The covers prevent unwanted electrical contact when used in tight spaces but can be pulled back to allow cleaning.

The lead is 50cm long and made from highly flexible silicon rubber wire that is non absorbent and easy to clean.

A kit of wires to support two channels. The kit includes:
